Our Art Nouveau hotel has been around since 1881, going by the name of Sporthotel since 1936. It has experienced golden years as well as times of hardship. A history that has made us fit for the present.

Story

The Sporthotel Pontresina looks back on a history rich in tradition. Learn more about the origins and the transformation of the hotel.

Location

Situated in the highest valley of the Upper Engadine, Pontresina is sunny and sheltered from the wind by a sloped terrace on the southwest side of the property. The well-preserved Engadine village stretches from 1777 to 1860 metres above sea level. It is surrounded by dense pine and larch forests.
