Morteratsch glacier nature trail

A completely new landscape has appeared as the result of noticeable glacier retreat in the Morteratsch area. A few years ago, the glacier foreland was still regarded as a useless and unattractive stony wasteland. Nowadays, greater awareness of the natural environment and associated phenomena means that this extremely diverse and exciting landscape is viewed in a completely different light.
