Travelling light without luggage. For Swiss domestic travel, you register your luggage until 7 p.m., and you collect it after 9 a.m. on the day after the next. This service is provided by The Swiss Railway/SBB at each staffed station.
Our Sporthotel Pontresina is additionally offering a pick-up service: We will pick up your luggage from the railway station or bus stop and take it directly to the hotel, so that you don't have to worry about a thing. In order to ensure that this service works flawlessly, you must inform us when you hand in your luggage and write "Sporthotel Pontresina" clearly on the address label. It's very easy to reach Pontresina by train. Take the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen/SBB to Chur, where you change to the Rhätische Bahn/RhB and travel to Pontresina, via nearby Samedan, on one of the most beautiful train rides in Switzerland.
The train schedules of the Schweizerische Bundesbahnen and the Rhätische Bahn help you to find the cheapest and smoothest connections. In the Engadine region itself you can use the Engadine Bus (website in German only) and the Rhätische Bahn. |
